I can’t practice speaking French for my class because apparently Rue is multilingual and she thinks everything I say means “yes Rue I want to play right now”.
It took an inappropriate amount of time to take that last picture of Rue. I had to sing a song for her to come over and even feign any interest at all.
Sorry Rue and I have been so absent. There has been a lot going on lately. I’m in school full time and that’s fun (it’s not fun). My great uncle passed a few weeks ago and that’s been a bit of an adjustment for the family (also not fun). My sister had a baby last week (this was fun and he’s a cutie pie) and lastly I have a chronic illness and I’ve been really sick for a few weeks. I’m exhausted. Rue has been great at trying to distract me from all the goings on, she’s adorable and shedding everywhere and just being a good puppy (most of the time). I’ve missed all the corgi pics and funny stories and just everyone being awesome here so I’m going to try to check in more often. Right now I have a stack of homework, a puppy that needs a walk and Halloween candy that I need to try not to eat *hides candy wrappers*. I hope everyone is well and we shall see you around the tumblrs soon.

Corgis gotta corg, Fae fights sleep sometimes too, a lot less now that she is not a puppy, but really it is like a kid fighing a nap.
She is definitely corging. I think she knows that I’m talking about her because she’s calmed down considerably since I posted this, lol.
Dumb question or rather a short explanation followed by a question.
When Rue gets tired she paces. She absolutely will not fall asleep until I tell her to go into her crate. Like right now she’s pacing back and forth, stops plays with a toy for a moment then paces more. I’ve tried getting down on the floor with her for cuddles thinking she’d fall asleep…nope. As soon as she feels herself drifting off she jumps up and the pacing starts again. I’ve taken her out thinking this was potty pacing…nope. So the dumb question does anyone have any tips or tricks I can use for my restless puppy?
ETA: We walk twice everyday and she has LOADS of playtime and time to run.
